Writer for Mental Healthtech & Digital Behavioral Health

About Me
I’m a storyteller who is deeply committed to driving innovation in the field of mental health.

I know how to write like a therapist, because I am one. My background delivering care, everywhere from inpatient psychiatry to outpatient clinics to public schools, not only furthered my skills as a clinician; it also gave me a comprehensive understanding of the mental health landscape. Truthfully, the existing systems have their limits - and I want to make a bigger impact.
There aren’t many clinicians who also have a tech startup background, but here I am! I’ve taken everything I’ve learned - project management, product development, scaling operations, analyzing data - and applied it to my passion for mental health. I’m now fully invested in leveraging technology to improve wellbeing - by joining forces with mental health companies and helping them spread their message.

But I didn't start in technology OR therapy. My background is as an actor, writer, and theater instructor; earning my BFA in Acting from Adelphi University, and performing, creating, and teaching throughout NYC. I witnessed firsthand how the arts and storytelling provided crucial support and immense growth to my students, and wanted more tools to work with people on improving their wellness. This led me to earn my MA in Drama Therapy from New York University; and to eventually become a clinical Creative Arts Therapist, using creative interventions to achieve therapeutic outcomes with clients of all ages in a variety of settings.
I love working with people who are using their imaginations to innovate and push beyond the existing limits of mental healthcare... because creative arts therapists like myself have already been dreaming up new ways to reach people for years. It’s my commitment to improving wellness, combined with being a creative at heart myself, that has led me here: firmly devoted to creating narratives for companies facilitating positive and inventive change.
When I’m not busy writing, you can probably find me at yoga class, seeing theater, or walking my pup around NYC.
